What order to read the vampire chronicles/mayfair witches?

I know the order for the vampire chronicles, and the one for the new tales of the vamps . . . but is this the order for the mayfair witches? since they intertwine a bit . . .

i don’t think even Anne Rice could give you a precise order to read them in

originally the lives of the mayfair witches was a separate series
The Witching Hour
Lasher
Taltos

then she wrote 3 more which linked them altogether and confused the order!
