pandora silver chains
What Pandora chain should I choose?

I’m going to be starting a bracelet and need to choose a chain first. I either want to get the bracelet in all sterling silver, or in a silver but it’s much darker, almost black.

I was thinking of getting the darker one because if it gets dirty you won’t notice it as much and it goes good with much more. But I also wear mostly gold jewelry and think the silver would look classier/clean cut. Wanted to know if anyone had any experience in purchasing one and maybe wishing they had purchased another kind. I’m very indecisive and don’t want to choose one and regret not getting the other later on. I just need some advice so I know I’m making the right choice!

Below are the links to the two different kinds for you to view..

Thanks!

i would go with the sterling silver. it is a more classy choice. dont worry about it getting dirty sterling silver is rather easy to take care of

(heres a link explaining how to care for sterling silver): http://southwestaffinity.com/clean.htm#Cleaning%20your%20jewelry, scroll down until you get to the highlighted blue titles.

silver and gold both will never go out of style. but the darker silver is somewhat just a trend, therefore not as classy. the sterling silver also will stand out more, being a pronounced accessory. the darker silver will just kind of blend in.

good luck, also make sure to try them on and see which one compliments ur skin tone.

silver pandora chains
Is my Pandora bracelet real?

I got a pandora bracelet the other month as a gift it didn’t come in a pandora box just a plain gift box. I got lots of beads with it which I know aren’t pandora cos they don’t say it on them. The beads and the chain are real silver cos they all say 925 on them. I just don’t know if the chain is real cos it says pandora on it but my friend bought a real pandora and it has a crown above the letter o which mine doesn’t and also the writing on mine is slightly bigger. I think its fake I don’t mind though just wana know, thanks

My sister bought a fake pandora bracelet for £6, she said that when she went school nobody could tell the difference – even if yours is fake, as long as you didn’t pay £200 or something for it, then it doesn’t really matter, i dont see what the big thing is with them anyway

Gold – Part of our history

Gold has been prized by human beings for thousands of years, and has been used as currency as well as for jewellery and other forms of ornamentation.  Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs from approximately 2600 years BC describe gold, as even this early on it was seen as an indication of great wealth.

Both the Old and New Testament of the Bible make mention of gold, which also serves to demonstrate the metal’s importance to humanity in the ancient world.  The early explorers who discovered the Americas were encouraged to continue their excursions to the New World in part due to the fact that the native peoples used a lot of gold in both jewellery and ornamentation.

Those who went on to inhabit Canada, the USA and South America continued to search for gold, and were very often successful.  Some of the most famous gold rushes occurred in places like Klondike, Colorado and the Black Hills, but other countries also experienced them – for example Australia and South Africa.

Today, gold is still widely used to make jewellery such as necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings.   Some are interested to learn that it is also used for its medicinal qualities on occasion – it can prove to be quite a good anti-inflammatory, though is maybe best known for its use in dentistry.  Gold leaf is also used in certain food products, including some alcoholic beverages, for decorative purposes.

The history and the many uses of gold are fascinating, and there are reams of information in books or online for any who are interested in finding out more.  One of the very best ways to indulge your love of the precious metal is to find a gold sweetie bracelet.

The bracelets, which are elegant and stylish, allow the owner to add their choice of charms or can be worn as sold.  The Links of London gold sweetie bracelets are made from hallmarked Stirling silver, which is then covered with 18 carat rolled gold.  These bracelets make splendid gifts and are a beautiful addition to almost any outfit.

It can seem difficult to choose presents for loved ones sometimes, but one thing many ladies love to have an abundance of is jewellery.  As well as gold sweetie bracelets, Links of London produce many other ranges of bracelets, not to mention necklaces, watches, rings and earrings.  An advantage of sweetie type bracelets and necklaces is that they can be ‘customised’ by the person who owns them.

A wide variety of charms are available, to mark certain life occasions or just to appeal to differing tastes.  Available in plain Stirling silver or gold or black rhodium plated, there is a sweetie bracelet to suit most occasions.  Whether you need to purchase an item of jewellery to match a certain set of clothes, or whether you are seeking a gift for a wedding anniversary, birthday or for Christmas, then a gold sweetie bracelet could be just the thing you are looking for.  It can add that extra bit of sparkle to a special day!
