is my pandora bracelet fake
Does my mom’s reaction make sense to you?

Ever since one of my mom’s rich friends bought her a Pandora bracelet with a couple of charms on it, she has been bugging me to get her charms to represent myself. She also is constantly bothering me to get my dad to buy her charms, too. Those little charms are like $30 each! I wanted to get her a horse charm to represent me, but I couldn’t afford it. So I finally went on Ebay and found a horse charm. I won the bidding and received it a few days ago. It’s really cute. I don’t know for sure if it’s authentic or not, but I figured it’s the thought that counts.

I just gave it to her like an hour ago. She said and I quote, “Is that real? Where did you buy it from? It’s probably a fake. I can’t have that on there, it will decrease the value of the bracelet.”

I did not know what to say so I left. I’m not too surprised because my mom is a selfish and rude person any way. But this was like ridiculous! What do you think?

Your mom sounds caught up in a fad and fails to see the sentiment BEHIND a gift rather than the gift itself. Just because you give your mother a gift does not mean that she has to love it automatically, it does NOT, however, excuse her for being rude or unappreciative of your buying her a gift. I am at a loss because of your mother’s reaction. I would recommend helping this bracelet disappear. ;-)
